Siyatha Sinhala weekly newspaper
(NIDAHASA News) The management of "Siyatha" Sinhala weekly newspaper has decided to discontinue publishing the newspaper from this week, reports say.
According to sources at newspaper, the management claims that they cannot continue the newspaper due to increasing printing costs.
Employees of the newspaper claims that they did not received salary for last month.
Siyatha media network which consist of Siyatha Newspaper, and several other television radio stations was known as a pro-government media network. According to internal sources, tt solely depended on government ads.
However media reports claimed that government stopped granting advertisements to media network.
